EPWP Project Support Monitoring & Evaluation Internship

Description

This programme is aimed at affording youth an employment opportunity to gain work experience. The successful candidates will assist with monitoring and evaluation tasks, including data collection, analysis, and reporting, to support the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP).

Responsibilities

  • Upload monthly and quarterly reports and supporting evidence on MS Teams
  • Collect, capture, and analyze data
  • Conduct desktop research
  • Develop performance and risk reports
  • Present feedback to stakeholders

Qualifications

  • A recognized three-year Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma or an equivalent qualification in a related field
  • Preference will be given to candidates with 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Familiarity with the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP)
  • Basic knowledge of report writing, presentation skills, data capturing, and analysis
  • Understanding of stakeholder management, facilitation, and government planning processes
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft packages
  • Ability to work long hours, under pressure, and willingness to travel when required
